How We Calculate Estimated Earnings
TikTok does not publicly display the total lifetime views a creator has accumulated across all their videos. To solve this, our algorithm uses a highly accurate proxy formula based on total likes. On average, across millions of videos, every 1 like equates to approximately 10 views. We use this ratio to estimate the profile's Total Lifetime Views.
Once the view count is estimated, we apply the Creator Rewards Program RPM (Revenue Per Mille). RPM dictates how much money a creator makes per 1,000 qualified views. While RPM can range from $0.05 to over $2.00 depending on the audience's geography and the creator's niche, we use a baseline average of $0.50 for our standard estimates.
