3. Information We Collect Automatically

To keep our servers running and prevent abuse (such as DDoS attacks or automated scraping), our server infrastructure temporarily logs standard connection data. This includes your IP address, browser type, and timestamp of access. This data is strictly used for security, rate-limiting, and maintaining service stability. It is routinely purged and is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How We Handle Third-Party Content

Tiktok Viewer acts as a proxy. When you request a video or profile, our servers fetch the raw data from TikTok and deliver it to you. However, the media files (images and MP4 videos) are delivered directly to your browser from TikTok's Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). We intentionally strip out TikTok's tracking scripts before rendering the page, meaning TikTok only sees our servers requesting the data, keeping your identity hidden from their tracking apparatus.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use minimal local storage (such as HTML5 `localStorage` or session cookies) exclusively to improve your user experience—for example, remembering if you closed a notification banner or your preferred language setting. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
